Improving Ad Experience for Consumers of Over-the-top (OTT) Streaming Free Ad-Supported Television (FAST)

Product Management at PlutoTV (acquired by ViacomCBS)

As a member of the revenue product team, I designed and conducted competitive analysis of OTT streaming services. I was mentored by SVP Adrian Chiu, who I collaborated with to develop a framework to describe ad experience and prioritize ad experience initiatives.

Using directional insights from the competitive analysis that I presented to CEO Tom Ryan, I drove a top-priority and cross-functional effort to improve ad experience for linear TV. I defined KPIs, developed the product feature through a UX design sprint with key stakeholders, and collaborated with engineers on system design, instrumentation framework, and AB testing.

We patented a novel system design to customize media streams. Before I returned to grad school, I transitioned my projects to a full-time Sr Product Manager brought on to spearhead the product area.
